Grace Tempany
Grace graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 2006 finishing top of her French class (BA Hons in Music and
French). She spent the next two years in Paris studying at the prestigious Ecole Normale Supérieure specialising in
Translation and completing a Masters at the Sorbonne in Literature and Politics. During this time Grace also lectured
in a number of departments within the Sorbonne and facilitated translation tutorials for Second and Third Year degree
students in the Linguistics department.
Grace returned to Dublin in Autumn 2008 to complete PGDE in TCD for which she was awarded First Class Honours in
June 2009. She has been teaching in Mount Anville Secondary School in Goatstown since September 2010. Aside from
teaching, Grace has a great interest in Music and is especially interested in the use of music in the language
classroom. She also loves travelling and Bikram yoga.
Sophia Pauzin
Sophia is one of our teaching assistants. She grew up in a bilingual family speaking French and English at home. She
is currently studying French and Spanish towards an International B.A. at NUI Galway. She is vice Auditor of the French
Society at NUIG and also has a love of watersports. She is a member of the surf and windsurfing club at her University.
She has also worked as an Au Pair many times.
Hannah Nolan
Hannah grew up in a bi-lingual household speaking French and English. She is passionate about languages and is
currently studying French in Trinity College Dublin and hopes to continue studying in France having completed her B.A.
She has lots of experience in giving leaving cert French grinds (particularly help with oral French) and she is well
practiced in exam techniques. She also enjoys reading, music and water-sports.
