Adam Keys
Adam works as a regional development officer with the Irish Rugby Football Union. In the Summer Adam is the Head Lifeguard
on Rossnowlagh beach in Donegal. Adam is a very accomplished surfer and has experience as an instructor in France and Ireland.
Interestingly, Adam has also played on the Irish Ultimate frisbee team and enjoys passing on his knowledge.
Colin O'Donnell
Colin is a French teacher in Ardscoil Phobal Bheanntrai and is passionate about the French language. He has gained
invaluable teaching experience in France, Switzerland and Ireland. As such he is very familiar with the Leaving Certificate
course and he will work closely with the assistant French teachers. Colin loves all outdoor activities and is a volunteer
with his local lifeboat service.
Isuelt Kirwan
Iseult is one of our teaching assistants. She graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 2007 with a first class honours
degree in French. Iseult has worked as a substitute teacher in primary school, taught swimming and lifesaving to secondary
school students for a number of years and has also worked in the Gaeltacht. She has spent a lot of time working in various
parts of France, particularly in the Basque region, an area of France that she loves for its people, rich culture and of course,
the surf.
Marie-Noel Garceau
Marie-Noelle is one of our teaching assistants. She is from the French part of Canada (Québec) and speaks French as her
first language. She will be helping students with their oral French and is looking forward to June. She has a degree in
Theatrical Studies and has experience in working with teenagers.
"Long" John McCurry
The sparky causeway coast man is one of the best talents on the Irish surf scene. He has not only won the Irish National
longboard Championships three times, but he has also reached semi-finals on the British tour. His fluid, traditional style
has also seen the 24-year-old finish 17th in the World Championships. He is a 'Gul' ambassador and proudly uses 'Skindog'
longboards. He enjoys travelling whenever he gets the opportunity.
Runar O'Moore
Runar is our resident entertainer. He has a degree in Sports Management from UCD and works as a trainer in "Educo" Gym
in Dundrum. He is an experienced hockey and soccer coach and enjoys his music and sport. He has also worked as a youth
development officer at the community games and as a coach at "Sportways" Hockey Camps.
Hugh Galloway
Surfing: 8 years.
Home Town: Waterford.

Competition results: 4th in the Irish Nationals. Hugh has been on many trips with the Irish Surf Team.
Tom Gillespie
Surfing and Bodyboarding: 8 years.
Home Town: Dublin.
Competition results: Tom came 5th in Europe in the under 18s bodyboard competition. When representing
Trinity College, he came 1st in the Intervarsities.
